He is preceded in death by both of his parents, 2nd wife Nancy Mae Chew Kennedy, sister Rozella Kennedy, brother Rueben Kennedy, son Randy Kennedy, grandson James (JC) Kennedy Jr., grandson Jacob Kennedy and great grandson Micheal (Mickey) Wetherell. Later in life he settled in Maryville, Missouri, and open little Toys for Old Boys scooter shop until retiring in 2018. He worked as a mechanic for awhile but preferred to be peddler and wheeler dealer. Then he moved to Missouri where he spent the rest of his life. After the Korean War he was stationed at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, until leaving the military in 1956. He was raised on a tobacco farm until he joined the Army in 1950. Born June 22, 1932, in Beulaville, North Carolina, to Coy and Ora Belle Tyndell Kennedy, passed away on October 23, 2023, in Carthage, Missouri.
